About SaffOnline
What is SaffOnline?
SaffOnline is an online course website for university students in Lebanon. It gives video lessons, notes, practice questions and flashcards for your courses, chapter by chapter, with full term access. You sign up with your university email and pay with Whish.
Is SaffOnline linked to my university?
No. SaffOnline is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or run by any university.
What language are the courses in?
English. The videos, notes, questions and flashcards are in English, like the university courses.
Does it follow my syllabus?
Each course follows the standard sequence universities in Lebanon use for that subject, chapter by chapter, from the same type of textbook. Each course page lists its chapters so you can compare them with your syllabus. It is not made by or with your university.
Payment
How do I pay?
With Whish. You review your order, approve the payment in Whish, and your course opens right away. You pay the price shown, with no fee on top.
Can I pay in Lebanese lira?
No. Prices and payments are in US dollars only, through Whish. You need dollars in your Whish wallet to pay.
Who can pay?
Only you, from your own Whish account. A parent or friend cannot pay for you from their Whish account.
When does my access start?
As soon as Whish confirms your payment, usually within a minute. It ends on the last exam day of your term.
What if I don’t pay?
Nothing is charged. A Whish payment you don’t finish closes after 30 minutes and we send one reminder email an hour later. An unpaid order is canceled by itself at the end of day 3. You can order again any time.
Are there refunds?
No refunds after activation. If we cannot activate your order, we return the money. Start the course for free first to see whether it suits you.
Do you have discount codes?
Sometimes. Type the code on the order page. Codes do not stack with each other or with automatic discounts; the order uses the single best discount and says which one it used.
Access and devices
What does “Full term access” mean?
Access lasts until your university’s last exam day. You see the exact date after you sign in. Summer terms work the same way.
On how many devices can I watch?
Two devices per account, for example your phone and your laptop. A third device is blocked; email us to reset your devices.
Can I watch on two devices at the same time?
No. One video at a time: playing on a second device stops the first.
Why is my name on the video?
Your name and phone number (your email if you gave no phone) appear on every video and page of notes. Sharing your account or tampering with the player closes the account with no refund.
Can I download the videos?
Not for now. Videos play on the site on phone and computer browsers. You can add the site to your home screen like an app.
Can I watch on Samsung Internet?
Videos play in Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox. On Samsung Internet, tap Open in Chrome.
What happens when my access ends?
Your progress (watched videos, quiz scores, flashcards) is kept. The course shows “Renew” with the normal prices.
Can I change my name, phone or email?
Not from the site, because they appear in the watermark. Email us and we correct them for you.
Courses
What is free?
The first chapter of a course, when its course page says it is free. Sign up with your university email and you get its video, notes, all its practice questions, its flashcards and its mock exam. The Swipe Quiz and the exam sets are not free, and nothing of the other chapters is.
Does every course have videos and practice?
Not always. Each course page shows what that course sells: videos, notes, practice questions, flashcards, mock exams or past papers. You buy only what it offers. Some courses sell their parts together as bundles; a part in a bundle is not sold on its own there.
Practice Basic or Practice Plus?
Some courses offer both, some only one; the course page shows which. Basic gives you a set part of each chapter’s practice questions (the course page shows the exact number) and all flashcards, no written questions; the Basic questions are the same for every student and spread over each chapter’s difficulties and sections. Plus gives you all the practice questions, all flashcards, the written questions and every chapter’s mock exam where the course has them; the course page says how many more questions Plus has. When a course offers both, you can upgrade from Basic to Plus later by paying the difference, with the same end date.
Bought the videos, want practice too?
When the course offers it, add practice within 7 days of activation and pay only the difference to the combo price. We remind you on your order page and by email.
Are the notes included?
Where a course has notes, they come with the videos, the combos and single chapters, never with practice alone. A course without videos may sell its notes on their own. Notes are read on the site with your name and phone on each page; there is no download.
What are mock exams and past papers?
A course can have a mock exam for each chapter and exam sets, such as Exam 1, Exam 2 and the Final. A chapter's mock exam comes with Practice Plus; it is not sold on its own. Exam sets are bought one by one from the course's Exams page in your account, once you have the course's videos or practice. A mock exam is timed: the timer starts when you press Start, you get a set number of tries, and you see your score when you submit. A past paper is a past exam you read on the site, with its answers when you finish. There is no download.
Do prices differ by course?
Yes. Each course page shows its own prices for what it sells: videos, notes, practice, combos, single chapters and exams.
My university isn’t listed. What now?
